Were living in the 21st century, to some people technology is not a big part of their life… in fact technology, like it or not, does play a big role in our everyday life. How many of us own a PC? It is thought that 365 million people use computers globally! How many of us would love to own the new iPhone or iPad? As a matter of fact, invested in a BlackBerry Curve, and approximately 30 million of us worldwide own one! This statistics will keep rising! Communication is a key to technology, think about all the new social networks and mobile phones! On today’s scale ‘Facebook’ has approximately around 750 million users online! However, technology is rarely contemporary; think how much evolutionary actions have taken place over the last 30years… what could we have in the next ten years!?
Could you personally give up your phone for a week and not get withdrawal symptoms or feel detached from this electronically diverse world? I’ve personally tried this and to be honest, I did struggle quite hard within the week. Did you know, 290million texts were sent New Year's 2011?
